Fried Oysters


Serves 3 or 4

1 ½ pints oysters
1 teaspoon pepper
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
2 eggs
3 cups corn meal
4 tablespoons milk

Wash and drain oysters. Season and roll over in corn meal. Dip into egg and milk batter and meal again. Drop into hot oil; fry for 1 minute on each side; place on paper towel to drain.
