Butterscotch Sauce
About ¾ Cup

Boil to the consistency of heavy syrup:
1/3 cup light corn syrup
5/8 cup light brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter
1/8 teaspoon salt
Cool these ingredients. Add:
1/3 cup evaporated milk or cream
Serve the sauce hot or cold. It may be reheated in a double boiler.
