Blocking Senders Quickly!

    In the previous lesson on filters I told you that you could create a filter to block people.  Yes, that's true, but there is a super quick way to block senders.  All you do is this:

Step One:

You click on an email...make sure its highlighted and then go to Messages---->Block Sender.  This will put the email address of the person in a block sender list and will delete all future emails from that person.  That's it!  Now isn't that nice and simple.  This will work on almost all pop3 and IMAP accounts.  If you're using Hotmail then you'll have to go to the hotmail site and add the filters from there.
