Whole Wheat Muffins

Ingredients

1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
3 tsp baking powder
3/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Directions

Beat egg in medium bowl. Stir in milk and oil. Sift dry ingredients together and add to liquid ingredients, stirring only until flour is moistened and most lumps are gone. Fill greased muffin cups about 3/4 full. Bake until golden brown, (about 20 minutes).  Makes 12 muffins.
