Chocolate Ice Cream
Makes about 2 quarts
4 cups heavy cream
1 ½ cups sugar
1 pound semisweet chocolate, melted in ¼ cup Kahlua or coffee
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Put heavy cream into a mixing bowl and whip until slightly stiff.
Slowly add the sugar, cooled chocolate mixture, cinnamon and vanilla.
Continue to beat for 1 more minute. Pour into a mold or container of
any kind and freeze. |
