Tomato Sauce

4 T. olive oil
3 c. onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
28 oz. can crushed tomatoes in tomato puree
16 oz. can tomato sauce
1 bay leaf
Salt & pepper to taste
½ tsp sugar
¼ tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. dried mint leaves

In saucepan sauté onions and minced garlic in oil until golden brown. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 to 1 ½
hours until thickened.
