Sponge Cake II

6 eggs, brought to room temperature
2 c. cake flour
2 c. sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
Pinch of salt
2/3 c. warm milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat together eggs and sugar until lemon-colored and add vanilla. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Gradually
beat dry ingredients into egg mixture. Add milk, slowly, to batter and blend well. Grease angel food tube pan well,
however, do not flour the pan. Pour in batter and bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 40 to 45 minutes. Turn oven
off and leave cake in oven for an additional 15 minutes. Allow cake to cool before removing from the pan.
