Shrimp Plaka
2 lb. extra lg. shrimp, peeled & deveined
(12 to a lb.)
½ c. olive oil or butter
½ c. dry white wine
¼ c. lemon juice
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. dried oregano
3 T. fresh parsley, finely chopped
Salt & pepper
Arrange shrimp in large shallow baking dish. In a saucepan, combine
the oil, wine, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, parsley
and salt and pepper to taste. Heat just until boiling and pour over
the shrimp. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes, or until
shrimp turns pink.
Serve from baking dish. Serve with a basket of crusty bread.
