Spaghetti Meat Sauce
Makes 6 to 8 servings
1 ½ lb. ground beef
3 med. onions, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 T. oil or butter
1 sm. green pepper, minced
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
2 c. tomatoes, chopped
1 c. tomato sauce
½ c. water
1 tsp. sugar
1 tsp. oregano
Brown meat, onions, and garlic in oil or butter. Add green peppers
and cook for 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients,
cover and simmer for an hour or until thickened.
