Kasseri Biscuits
Makes 3 dozen (These freeze well)

These biscuits are just delicious served at breakfast with fresh fruit on the side. May also be used as an appetizer.

1 ½ c. sifted flour
1 c. Kasseri cheese, shredded
½ c. butter
3 T. milk
1 egg, beaten slightly

Combine flour and cheese; cut in butter until the ingredients are blended. Stir in milk and mix well. Finally mix in egg.
Pinch off a portion of the dough and with your hands, roll into a 5-inch long strip. Shape the strip into a circle with the
ends crossing one another (to resemble a wreath). Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet in a preheated 350 degree oven
for 20 to 25 minutes. Serve warm.
