Chocolate Refrigerator Roll
Makes two 14-inch rolls
½ lb. Unsalted butter
2 egg yolks
½ c. confectioners' sugar
2 (7 ½ oz.) boxes tea biscuits, cut into
small pieces
4 T. instant chocolate mixed with ½ c. scalded milk & cooled
2 c. coarsely-chopped almonds
Mix all ingredients. Form into 2 rolls and wrap with waxed paper.
Place in freezer or refrigerator to chill well. To serve,
cut into diagonal slices.
