PIG

Number of players: Three to Thirteen

The Deck: Four cards represent any single denomination for each player in the game. Therefore, four players would use a 16 card pack consisting of four aces, four kings, four queens and four jacks.

Shuffle and deal: Any player may shuffle the pack thoroughly. Then four cards are dealt, one at a time, to each player.

Object of the game: The goal is to create a group of four of a kind in your hand. You must not be the last to discover when someone else achieves the same object. Be alert!

The play: The players look at their hands. Every player then passes a single card to the player at the left, then picks up the card passed by the player at the right. When any player has in hand four cards of one denomination (as four queens), that player stops passing or picking up the cards. Immediately, he or she puts a finger to their nose. All the other plays must instantly halt passing. Each must also put a finger to the nose. The last to do this is the PIG.
