One
problem with Geocities, they have a monthly transfer limit, on a few
of my early pages I've met those every month and they blackout the
page until the next month...so if think your page is going to get a
lot of traffic, avoid geocities. |

Generally a good web space provider...the only problem I've ever had
with them is not being able to get into the ftp upload area for two
weeks, but they seem a little more stable now. |

heard complaints that Tripod shuts down sites without warning.
Since I've not had this happen to me, I can't comment on the validity
of it...but be wary of them. |

warning...cause what it offers looks attractive 100mb of space, but
the reality of it is quite different. |
