Chocolate Chip Cookies
1-1/4 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-1/2 cups quick or old-fashioned oats, uncooked
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
In a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
In a large bowl, beat together sugar and butter until light
and fluffy. Blend in eggs and vanilla. Add flour mixture; mix
well. Stir in oats, than add chocolate chips and walnuts.
Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
Bake for 10 to 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool on rack.
