Yogurt Nut Brown Bread
1 cup stone-ground rye flour
1 cup whole-wheat flour
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups plain yogurt
1/3 cup light molasses
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9 1/2 x 5 1/2 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl stir three different kinds of flour, baking soda and
salt. In another bowl mix the yogurt and molasses. Blend the yogurt
mixture into the dry ingredients and then stir in the walnuts. Spoon
the mixture into the pan. Cook for 1 hour, let it cool in the pan
for 10 minutes then remove it and let it cool on the rack.
